The Horris Hill Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in Great Britain which is open to two-year-old thoroughbred colts and geldings. It is run at Newbury over a distance of 7 furlongs (1,408 metres), and it is scheduled to take place each year in October.
The event was established in 1949, and it was originally open to horses of either gender. It was formerly held on Newbury's left-handed course, with a distance of about 7 furlongs and 64 yards. It was restricted to male horses in 1987, and it was switched to a slightly shorter straight course in 2000.
The Horris Hill Stakes has occasionally featured horses which have gone on to achieve victory in one of the following year's Classics. These have included the winners Charlottown and Tirol, and the third-placed horse in 1993, Erhaab.
